Census Bureau: 78% of people in Jackson County were old enough to vote in 2021
Of the 10,016 citizens living in Jackson County in 2021, 78% were old enough to vote, equating to 7,807 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

This is a leadership position responsible for directing, planning, performing and coordinating the operation and maintenance of the Public Works Department including streets, water, wastewater, parks, stormwater infrastructure, and general building maintenance.

The warming house will not be open until Monday due to staffing, but the rink is open. There is plenty of winter left to enjoy some skating.

Trucks will be pulled when the wind picks up.

The funding is needed to offset some of the cost of building them so they can get the price of the homes down to a level that the local market will support.

The City of Jackson and Jackson County are working together to create a Trail Action Plan to connect the city to Robertson, Brown, and Anderson County Parks to the south and Belmont County Park and Kilen Woods State Park to the north. We hope to expand opportunities for outdoor recreation by providing safe trail corridors for all users.

Truck has normal wear and tear, new rear tires, and a turbo problem which causes the truck to have low power.

Earlier this year we had problems with people (not even customers) loitering/hanging around outside of the liquor store, especially after dark when it was closing time.
