City Of Jackson issued the following announcement on Sep. 16.
YOUR INPUT IS WANTED! The Jackson Park Board is considering removing these sandboxes due to a perceived lack of usage and difficulty in maintaining them. What would you like to see go in their place?
Some ideas that have been mentioned are flower beds, community gardens, a piece of play equipment, etc. Any other suggestions? We’d love to hear from you!
