City Of Jackson issued the following announcement on Oct. 06.
These "No Loitering" signs were installed up at the Liquor Store to help protect the safety and well being of our employees. Earlier this year we had problems with people (not even customers) loitering/hanging around outside of the liquor store, especially after dark when it was closing time. Please do not tease or make sarcastic comments to liquor store employees about them.
Providing a safe work environment for all of our employees is our Number 1 priority for the City. Thank you for your patronage and understanding.
