78% of Martin County residents old enough to vote in 2021
Of the 20,070 citizens living in Martin County in 2021, 78% were old enough to vote, equating to 15,655 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

As a reminder, leaf pick-up begins Monday, November 7th for properties south of Blue Earth Avenue/Lake Avenue and north of Lair Road/Cardinal Street.

Leaves can also be dropped off, along with brush and grass clippings at the Yard Waste Recycling site located at 1880 100th Street, Fairmont.

Fairmont Wastewater Plant staff and a contractor will be performing upgrades to a pump station located at the three-way intersection of S. Main Street, Albion Avenue and Webster Street (near the exit of Ward Park). This area will be congested with multiple work crews and equipment.
