City Of Fairmont issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.

All day, potentially into the evening hours.
Fairmont Wastewater Plant staff and a contractor will be performing upgrades to a pump station located at the three-way intersection of S. Main Street, Albion Avenue and Webster Street (near the exit of Ward Park). This area will be congested with multiple work crews and equipment.
Main Street, south, may be temporarily closed to through traffic.
A pump will be set up at the intersection of Albion/Tilden (near the entrance to Ward Park). The northbound traffic lane on Albion Avenue will be adjusted with cones to keep both north and south traffic open. Access to Tilden from Albion may be closed.
