City Of Jackson issued the following announcement on May 13.
Crews have started doing some “punch list” items from last summer’s street projects. The intersection of Dewey Street and North Highway will be repaved due to a construction defect, most likely next week weather permitting.
Crews are also raising the manholes and patching around them in anticipation of the second lift of pavement being poured. This should also occur next week, weather permitting. Please be careful navigating the streets and as always, be courteous of each other.
