On Friday, Feb. 21, former Luverne Senior High School standout Billi Connell’s current college team, the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, won 7-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Hillsdale Chargers.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Chargers this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. at Thompson Field at Meador Park against Drury Panthers.
