In the fourth quarter of 2023, MN Veterans Home - Luverne stood out as the largest nursing home in Rock County, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Data shows that the nursing center had a total of 85 beds available, 23 more than the average in Rock County as of the fourth quarter of 2023. They aided an average of 60.1 residents during that period.

MN Veterans Home - Luverne boasted an overall rating of 5 from the CMS, which is higher than the average of 3.2 recorded for nursing homes in Minnesota.

During the quarter, Good Samaritan Society - Mary Jane Brown stood out as the second largest nursing home in Rock County, with 51 beds available. Tuff Memorial Home came in third place, with 50 beds available.

As of the fourth quarter of 2023, MN Veterans Home - Luverne has spent a total of $655 in one fine and suffered one penalty.

In total, there was one public nursing home in Rock County, Minnesota.

But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
