74.9% of Redwood County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 15,435 citizens living in Redwood County in 2021, 74.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 11,554 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 5,780 were male, constituting 50%, and 5,774 were female, making up 50%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Redwood County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
