Marshall Public School District students performance on MCA and MTAS in 2021-22 school year?

Marshall Public School District ranked first in the Lyon County for test participation, with 1,308 students taking the Math portion of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment and the Minnesota Test of Academic Skills in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Minnesota Department of Education.

The number of Marshall Public School District students taking the tests in the 2021-22 school year rose by 3.8% over the previous year.

Marshall Public School District's students achieved an average Math proficiency rate of 46% in 2021-22 school year.

Eighth grade students stood out with 47% of them exceeding standards in Math, which was the highest recorded proficiency at the district.

On the other hand, 11th-grade students had the most room for improvement, with 47% not meeting the expected standards.
