Butterfield Public School District: MCA and MTAS Reading results for 2021-22 school year

Butterfield Public School District ranked third in the Watonwan County for test participation, with 110 students taking the Reading portion of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment and the Minnesota Test of Academic Skills in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Minnesota Department of Education.

The number of Butterfield Public School District students taking the tests in the 2021-22 school year rose by 2.8% over the previous year.

Butterfield Public School District's students achieved an average Reading proficiency rate of 29% in 2021-22 school year.

Third grade students stood out with 12% of them exceeding standards in Reading, which was the highest recorded proficiency at the district.

On the other hand, seventh grade students had the most room for improvement, with 71% not meeting the expected standards.
