Windom Area Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
The Windom Chamber of Commerce is hosting a rubber duck decorating contest. Funds raised will be used for Riverfest events and entertainment.
For a $10 donation/entry fee you will be provided with the white rubber duck to be decorated and returned to the Chamber Office by April 30th.
There will be a youth and an adult division.
Votes equal $1/vote and contestants are encouraged to raise the most votes to win prizes.
Voting runs May 1st-31st with ducks on display in the Chamber Office and on social media.
Contestants will get to keep their decorated ducks when they voting has ended.
The Chamber will also have additional contest categories that will not require a donation to participate in those voting areas.
