PUBLIC HEARING NOTICEPlanning Commission/Board of AdjustmentFebruary 28, 2023
The Martin County Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment will be conducting a public hearing on February 28, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. The hearing will be held in the Martin County Commissioners Room, located on the first floor of the Courthouse, 201 Lake Avenue – Fairmont, MN. The following items will be on the agenda:
Variance Request from Troy Jensen within Section 14 of East Chain Township. Mr. Jensen is proposing to construct a new machine shed that will be closer than the minimum required setback from East side yard setback in an “A” Agricultural District. The Martin County Zoning Ordinance requires a side yard setback of not less than thirty (30) feet in an “A” Agricultural District. Re-Zone Request from MB Realty LLC (Mike Bettin), applicant and property owner, within Section 28 of Fairmont Township. Mr. Bettin is proposing to re-zone property that is zoned as “A” Agricultural District to “HB” Highway Business District for the purpose of operating a commercial storage building. Any persons interested in this public hearing are urged to attend the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment meeting.
