Florence Township issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
Local Road Improvement Update - Speed Bumps & Raised Crosswalks.
As we continue our 2022 Road Improvements, we are alerting residents that two roads now have improvements to assist with reducing speed and provide safe crossing.
Speed Bumps: Currently in place on W 5th Street
Raised Crosswalks: Currently in place on E 9th Street
These elevated areas have not yet been striped. Please be mindful to operate vehicles at reduced speeds and adhere to posted signage of existing speed limits. Striping will be complete very soon.
