Florence Township issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
The Florence Township Police Department and surrounding communities have been experiencing a high number of vehicle burglaries and thefts. All agencies are actively working together investigating these burglaries and thefts. All of the vehicles that have been burglarized have been unlocked. All of the vehicles that have been stolen, have had the keys to the vehicle in them or in another vehicle close by.
Anyone who observes suspicious activity is asked to contact the F.T.P.D. at (609)267-8300 or if you have information regarding the case and wish to make an anonymous tip, please follow this link: https://florence-nj.gov/public-safety/police/tip-line . If you have surveillance video that you would like to share regarding the vehicle burglaries you can join Neighbors and post your video to the police department.
