We are excited to introduce our new Elementary Principal & Curriculum Director, Mr. Corey Boe! We will have a facebook live interview with Corey on Sunday, July 31st at 6:30pm. Add that to your calendars! In the meantime, here is a little information about Mr. Corey Boe!
Corey is coming to the Lakeview School District after serving as Assistant Middle School Principal for Marshall Public Schools for the 2021-2022 school year. Prior to transitioning into administration, Corey was an Elementary and High School PE/Health Teacher and Instructional Coach/Tech Integrationist for the Graettinger-Terril School District in Graettinger, Iowa for 13 years. Corey also coached multiple junior high and varsity baseball teams during his time there. Corey is originally from Redwood Falls, MN, the son of 2 teachers. He has his Masters in Physical Education from Southwest MN State University and his Advanced Studies Certificate in Principalship from the University of Northern Iowa. Corey and his wife Kristen have been married since 2010 and have 2 children together: Addison (5th grade) and Jaden (Kindergarten). They also have 2 dogs named Rizzo (Cavalier King Charles -1 ) and Kirby (German Shorthair- 13). The Boes can usually be found outside with their kids and dogs, biking, boating, or inside watching marathons of The Office or Number Blocks together. The Boes are excited to be part of the Laker family!!
