City Of Jasper recently issued the following announcement.
The Jasper Public Works Department will be jetting sewer lines during the month of May 2022 during daytime hours. During this time residents may notice a rumbling or bubbling noise coming from their basement drains and toilets due to the jetting process.
Close your toilet lids. If you smell sewer gas, flush your toilet and refill your drains with water.
