City of Madelia issued the following announcement on Dec. 27.
Charges are for a two-week rental which includes one dump. The dumpster will be removed when it is full or after two weeks- whichever comes first. You can pay a rental fee of $8.00 if you need to keep the dumpster longer than two weeks.
If you need the dumpster emptied more than one time then you need to pay the appropriate dumpster fee each time it is emptied in order to keep the dumpster.
Dumpsters are available for household garage removal or for demolition projects.
Demolition dumpster cannot contain household goods or garbage- you will be charged $30/yard if these items are found in the dumpster.
