City of Belview issued the following announcement on Dec. 12.
Sounds like it is time to keep a close eye on our neighorhoods. The Belview City Office was notified that there have been a couple of reports of unlocked vehicles being rummaged through during the night here in town. There was also a report recently of fuel being stolen on private property and of a car that had parts removed during the night.
Let's make it difficult for those helping themselves to others property when they think no one is watching. If you notice anything suspicious get license plate numbers and vehicle descriptions. Don't hesitate to report suspicious activity to the sheriff.
