City of Belview issued the following announcement on Oct. 5.
Reports of people receiving an absentee ballot application(s) in the mail with out requesting them has lead to some confusion. Absentee ballot applications were sent from the MN Secretary of States Office and in some cases from special interest groups or political parties for your convenience. If you did not request an absentee ballot application than just disregard it.
The polls will be open in the Belview Community Center for City of Belview and Kintire Township voters to come and vote in person as in the past. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Face masks will be required to be worn in order to enter the community center on Election Day. Masks will be provided if you do not have your own.
