Murray County Historical Museum issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.
On exhibit is this Twin Tub “Easy” Washing Machine. Advertised as having “vacuum cup technology” this early electrical wash tub freed up time on wash day! This type of washing machine was manufactured by the Syracuse Washing Machine Company from 1920 to 1932.
Donated by the Walt Benton Estate in 1997.
