Marshall-Lyon County Library issued the following announcement on July 10.
Meet with other writers digitally to discuss topics and challenges! These meetings are open to all writers from the region. There will also be dedicated writing time and the opportunity to share your work. Sessions are scheduled every Wednesday, with exceptions for holidays.
There will be no scheduled meeting on Wednesday, July 1st, but everyone is welcome to make use of the discord server at any time. On July 8, 15, and 22, the meeting will run an extra hour until 8:30 pm for Camp NaNoWriMo.
For now, meetings are held on discord, a free chat service that can be used in your browser or through an app on your computer or smart device. You will need to sign up for an account with a valid email address before you can use it. You're also welcome to chat throughout the week!
