City of Clements issued the following announcement on July 9.
The first day of filing Affidavits of Candidacy for the City General Election on Novemeber 3rd, 2020 is July 28th, 2020 and the last day to file is August 11th, 2020 by 5 p.m. for the following offices:
One(1) Mayor- 2-year term
Two(2) Councilmembers 4-year terms
Affidavits of Candidacy can be filed with the City Clerk on Wednesdays from 10 a.m - 2 p.m and August 11th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
