City of Belview issued the following announcement on July 9.
Been getting a few complaints at the City Clerk's Office regarding property owners that are not keeping their lawns mowed and trimmed.
According to the city's environmental ordinance this is considered to be a public nuisance. If found guilty of continually violating this ordinance the property owner could be found guilty of a misdemeanor and really who wants that.
To avoid the need for further action to become necessary and to make your neighbors happy please keep your lawns mowed and weeds trimmed.
