City of Belview issued the following announcement on June 12.
We have been receiving many inquiries as to whether or not there will be an Old SOD Day celebration this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The consensus is that it is still too early to make that call. Old SOD Day is a community event that would not happen without the hard work of the Preservation Commission, Booster Club, the American Legion and Belview Bar and Grill so their input is vital. A special meeting will be held with representatives of these organizations and businesses and a decision will be made by July 15th.
