City of Lismore issued the following announcement on March 17
Due to COVID-19 concerns, there has been a shortage of toilet paper on store shelves. This may cause people to look for alternative products such as paper towels, facial tissues, baby wipes, "flushable" wipes, and other similar items. Those products do not break down like toilet paper and can cause sanitary sewer back ups, which in turn can cause additional public health concerns. Please do not flush items other than toilet paper down your toilet . If you have questions please call 507-472-8779
