City of Northrop issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
University of Minnesota students! Stop by and find a cozy spot to study, recharge, or relax in Northrop's expanded study spaces. Grab a FREE snack, fill up your thermoses or mugs with FREE coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, and find a spot that best suits you.
STUDY-IN at NORTHROP SPACES STATS:
Floor 1, main lobby: Tables and chairs throughout lobby, access to power outlets (and snacks), cozy atmosphere.
6 Study Lounges: Floors 1 - 3, east and west sides, about 12 seats per lounge, with natural light and a noise level including chatter.
2 Gallery Lounges: Floor 4, east and west sides of the gallery, 6 couches per lounge, with low hum as noise level.
Surdyk's Cafe: Floor 1, about 60 seats, with natural light and a noise level including chatter.
Best view of the mall: Check out floor 3 along the catwalk!
*Everywhere is ADA accessible and has access to power outlets
